Chelsea Loves Animals!

 Chelsea wanted to go to Florida to Walt Disney World^® Resort to see the sights, but she especially wanted to go to Animal Kingdom. This ten-year-old absolutely loves animals!

  Chelsea and her family are no strangers to Make-A-Wish, as her older brother, Jordan, received his wish a year ago to meet “The Undertaker” of WWE fame.  Jordan, Chelsea, and younger sister, Sarah, all suffer from Alstrom Syndrome, which causes congestive heart failure.   Sadly, Jordan passed away soon after his wish was granted, and the family was able to really spend some wonderful healing time together during Chelsea’s wish.

Chelsea’s family wanted no part of flying to Florida, and drove from their home in Lexington instead, enjoying the sights and taking their time. It was no surprise to Chelsea’s family that her favorite spot would be Animal Kingdom, but they weren’t quite prepared to spend three days there, which they did for Chelsea.  She even had her face painted like a tiger’s!
