Wish Stories

Brian, 3, of Fremont was in the park at a party to celebrate his wish. He had wished for a motorized truck to drive around his neighborhood. To set things off on exactly the right note, Brian and his family were picked up by local firefighters and taken to the park in a fire truck. Talk about an exciting way to get around town! The ride in the fire truck had him smiling from ear to ear. He had already taken a tour of the station and found fire trucks to be absolutely amazing.

At the park, he was greeted by his wish granters, Julie Diers, Jan Lutz, and Lori Kisby. Plus, there was even someone more exciting at the party -- Sweetheart the Clown. Sweetheart made balloon animals and painted faces for those at the party.

So now we have had candy and fire trucks and clowns and balloons. Could it get any better? Yes! The last surprise of the day was uncovering a motorized Jeep AND a motorized Corvette. Brian and his brothers immediately jumped into the jeep. They all fit into one vehicle because they wanted to ride together. As they drove around the park, gifts seemed to be around every corner. He was in awe of each one.

In the fire truck on the way home, Brian fell asleep after a long day of having wishes come true.
